Christine Is Here To Stay

November 24, 1999 was the day
The message was not their way,
The High School made the call
Christine was caught in the menthanol and fires fall,
In the chemistry class they saw it start
And the fire took part,
The equipment blew
Afterwards all the students knew,
Major burns from her legs up to her face
ICU first and the Burn Unit was the next place,
This young girl fought to stay,
Her family was with her every day,
Surgeries, massages, rehabilitation and more
Kept this girl off the floor,
Soon High School graduation will be
Christine's family and friends will get to see.
