Holidays and Burns

Holidays can be hard on everyone
A burn injury does not help us at all
Our emotions become doubled
The time can cause us to be alone
People may not understand
The live we must live
Surviving during this time of year
May cause us to fight personal fears
Is there a way survivors can share?
Sharing with other burn survivors can help us find a new path
They can feel our pain
See us for who we are
Life together can give us a chance
To move to a place we all can last
