Back in April and November/December 2002 I have the honor to meet with Bishop Peter (Pierre) Nguyen Van Nho in Nha Trang, Viet Nam during BSTTW's trips to Viet Nam. In 2002 BSTTW did not only meet with Bishop Peter, I was met with the Vietnamese and US Government officials in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam. During my trip to Ha Noi I was taken to one of the burn unit and rehabilitation centers that the Vietnamese Government offered to their burn victims.
During my trips to Nha Trang, Viet Nam I was able to spend time with the honorable Bishop Peter (Pierre) Nguyen Van Nho. We spoke about the work that BSTTW has been offering and what we would like to do in Viet Nam in order to help the burn victims and burn survivors and also increase fire safety education that could help to decrease the number of fires, deaths, injuries and property damage. Bishop Pierre was so excited about the work that BSTTW was willing to offer to the burn survivor community in Viet Nam and to the people of Viet Nam that he took time to pray with me to God our Father and also informed me that he was willing to do anything he could to help BSTTW and the people in Viet Nam and the world.
During my first tript in April 2002 Bishop Pierre also found time to spead the afternoon with me and his family and to have his family cook a special Vietnamese meal for me. During my second trip to Viet Nam in November/December 2002 Bishop Pierre took me with his family to a special fishing hole in Nha Trang, Viet Nam. He had his relatives catch the fish and then Bishop Pierre's family cooked the fish and we all ate at the Bishop's family home in Nha Trang, Viet Nam. I must say that it was an honor for me personally and for BSTTW to meet with, talk to, spend time, pray to God our Father with and to discuss goals of helping the burn survivors and the public in Viet Nam with the honorable Bishop Pierre Nguyen Van Nho. I am very sorry that in May 2003 Bishop Pierre passed away. Today he is in heaven doing work for God our Father from above.
It is our duty to continue Bishop Peter Nho's work on the earth while we are still alive.
